Acara istimewa ini diikuti oleh 166 lulusan dari berbagai program studi serta pelantikan 38 calon insinyur yang telah menyelesaikan pendidikan profesi insinyur melalui jalur Rekognisi Pembelajaran Lampau (RPL). Wisuda kali ini bukan hanya perayaan pencapaian akademis, tetapi juga menjadi wujud komitmen Undiknas untuk mendukung pembangunan berkelanjutan melalui program pendidikan yang inklusif dan adaptif.

Dalam sambutannya, Rektor Undiknas, Prof. Dr. Ir. Nyoman Sri Subawa, S.T., S.Sos., M.M., IPM., ASEAN.Eng., menekankan pentingnya peran pendidikan tinggi dalam mendukung tujuan pembangunan berkelanjutan atau Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) melalui upaya menciptakan pendidikan inklusif. Menurutnya, inklusivitas pendidikan tinggi bukan hanya tentang kesetaraan kesempatan, tetapi juga merangkul seluruh lapisan masyarakat untuk berpartisipasi dalam pengembangan kompetensi dan penelitian bersama.

Acara ini diikuti sebanyak 166 peserta wisudawan dari berbagai jurusan di Undiknas. Bersamaan dengan acara wisuda, Undiknas juga melantik 38 calon insinyur yang telah menyelesaikan tahap pendidikan profesi dengan jalur RPL. Para insinyur ini diharapkan mampu berkontribusi pada pengembangan infrastruktur dan mendukung tercapainya tujuan SDGs dengan pemanfaatan teknologi yang tepat. “Integritas akademik dan etika insinyur Indonesia menjadi bekal penting bagi seluruh insinyur baru ini dalam menjalankan praktik keinsinyuran di masyarakat,” tegas Prof. Sri Subawa.

Sebagai universitas yang responsif terhadap keberagaman, Undiknas terus mengupayakan inklusivitas dengan memberikan berbagai beasiswa pendidikan bagi mahasiswa berprestasi dari latar belakang sosial-ekonomi yang kurang beruntung. Inisiatif ini merupakan bentuk kontribusi Undiknas dalam menciptakan pendidikan yang berkualitas untuk semua kalangan, sesuai dengan visi pendidikan nasional.

Rektor juga menambahkan bahwa upaya internasionalisasi pendidikan tinggi semakin ditekankan melalui penyelenggaraan program International Undergraduate Program (IUP) yang tersedia untuk jurusan Manajemen, Akuntansi, dan Hukum. Dengan dukungan berbagai perguruan tinggi luar negeri, seperti HELP University, Medipol University, dan Edith Cowan University, program ini mempersiapkan lulusan yang siap bersaing di pasar kerja global.

Diselenggarakan oleh Program Studi Teknologi Informasi, Fakultas Teknik dan Informatika, seminar ini menghadirkan para ahli dari berbagai bidang, termasuk teknologi, spiritualitas, dan kesehatan mental, untuk membahas strategi dalam menghadapi Quarter-Life Crisis—sebuah tantangan umum yang sering dialami oleh para dewasa muda. Menampilkan pembicara terkemuka seperti Bapak I Wayan Budi Sentana, Ph.D., dan Bapak Robindro Aribam, seminar ini menjadi platform untuk diskusi mendalam serta solusi praktis, yang memadukan pendekatan ilmiah dan spiritual dalam pengembangan diri.

Presentasi dari kedua pembicara terhormat, Bapak I Wayan Budi Sentana, Ph.D., dan Bapak Robindro Aribam, menunjukkan keterkaitan keahlian mereka dengan Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (SDGs). Dalam presentasinya yang berjudul “AI dan Quarter-Life Crisis Management,” Dr. Sentana mengeksplorasi bagaimana alat kecerdasan buatan (AI) dapat mendukung para dewasa muda dalam menghadapi ketidakpastian karir dan pengembangan diri. Wawasan beliau menyoroti potensi AI dalam berkontribusi pada SDG 8 (Pekerjaan Layak dan Pertumbuhan Ekonomi) dengan menawarkan solusi inovatif berbasis AI untuk pengembangan karir dan peningkatan keterampilan. Ia juga menekankan penggunaan AI secara etis, yang selaras dengan SDG 9 (Industri, Inovasi, dan Infrastruktur) melalui karyanya tentang penggunaan teknologi secara bertanggung jawab untuk mendukung kesehatan mental dan kesejahteraan.

Bapak Robindro Aribam dari Bhaktivedanta Institute menyampaikan presentasi bertajuk “Manajemen Stres dan Promosi Mindfulness,” yang berfokus pada teknik pengelolaan stres berbasis mindfulness dan spiritualitas. Karya beliau berkontribusi langsung pada SDG 3 dengan menawarkan solusi holistik yang mempromosikan kesehatan mental dan emosional, seperti meditasi dan yoga. Penekanan Bapak Aribam pada keseimbangan antara kesehatan spiritual dan fisik selaras dengan SDG 4 (Pendidikan Berkualitas), karena menyediakan alat praktis bagi para dewasa muda untuk mengatasi tantangan Quarter-Life Crisis melalui refleksi diri dan pengambilan keputusan yang penuh kesadaran.

Kolaborasi antara Undiknas dengan Bhaktivedanta Institute serta Politeknik Negeri Bali ini mencerminkan komitmen institusi-institusi tersebut dalam menghadapi tantangan global melalui pendidikan dan inovasi teknologi. Dengan memfasilitasi diskusi tentang Quarter-Life Crisis dan menghubungkannya dengan SDGs, institusi-institusi ini memainkan peran penting dalam membentuk masa depan dewasa muda dengan menyediakan alat dan pengetahuan untuk menghadapi kompleksitas kehidupan modern, baik dari sisi mental maupun teknologi.

Seminar ini diakhiri dengan sesi diskusi interaktif, di mana para peserta dengan antusias mengajukan pertanyaan dan berbagi pemikiran tentang berbagai topik. Percakapan tersebut menyoroti kecemasan generasi muda dalam bersaing dengan AI, menyoroti kekhawatiran tentang penggantian pekerjaan yang didorong oleh teknologi dan pembentukan identitas. Peserta juga mengeksplorasi penyebab dan faktor unik dari Quarter-Life Crisis yang tampaknya kurang terlihat pada generasi sebelumnya, seperti orang tua dan kakek-nenek, yang menghadapi tekanan sosial yang berbeda. Diskusi lebih lanjut menyinggung tantangan pengendalian diri dan pengelolaan ekspektasi, di mana peserta mencari panduan tentang cara menyeimbangkan ambisi dan realisme dalam mengejar tujuan pribadi dan profesional.

This event also marked the beginning of their academic journey as students and introduced them to the Undiknas campus environment and culture.

The closing series began with informative sessions from Bank BPD Bali and Bank BRI, followed by a farewell session from the organizing committee, who had worked hard throughout the Student Week 2024/2025. The Rector of Undiknas, Prof. Dr. Ir. Nyoman Sri Subawa S.T., S.Sos., M.M., IPM., ASEAN Eng., officially closed the event, accompanied by a symbolic removal of the Student Week attributes and the wearing of the Undiknas Alma Mater, marking the end of Student Week 2024/2025.

After the official closing, the event continued with various entertainment activities featuring collaborations between the new students and previous year students. Highlights included: the Best Student Organization Booth award session, a basketball match between the new student team and the Undiknas basketball team, badminton performances from the new students, and other entertainment such as a fashion show, theater performances, dance shows, traditional dances by Undiknas Dance Club, and a concluding band performance with a guest star that enlivened the atmosphere.

Held at the Undiknas Sport and Art Center (USA), the closing ceremony was attended by the entire organizing committee, including the Vice Rector and Deans from all faculties at Universitas Pendidikan Nasional.

The conclusion of Student Week marks the beginning of Undiknas’ new students’ journey in the academic world. Amid the growing demands of the industry and the increasingly tight global competition, students are expected to develop sufficient competencies to compete in the job market and entrepreneurial ventures in the future.

This year’s Student Week, held under the theme “Pioneering Intellectuals, Accelerating Sustainable International Civilization,” aimed not only to introduce new students to campus life but also to instill a sustainable global mindset in each participant. Officially opened by the Rector of Undiknas, Prof. Dr. Ir. Nyoman Sri Subawa S.T., S.Sos., M.M., IPM., ASEAN Eng, this year’s Student Week emphasized Undiknas’ role in preparing young generations who excel not only academically but are also ready to contribute to the acceleration of a more inclusive and sustainable global civilization. Students are expected to become pioneers in various fields of knowledge, strengthening global collaboration while maintaining environmental and social balance.

 

As part of this grand vision, Undiknas prepares new students to think critically, innovate, and become internationally-minded leaders. This marks the beginning of their journey towards a future filled with both competition and opportunities in an increasingly connected world.

The Student Week program runs for three days, from August 5 to August 7, 2024. During this time, all new students will not only be introduced to Undiknas’ campus environment and academic culture, but they will also participate in various other informative and inspiring activities. Some of the main events include:

  1. Campus Orientation: In this session, new students will tour the campus to familiarize themselves with the various facilities, including the library, laboratories, and student activity centers that will support their learning throughout their studies.
  2. Introduction to the Academic Community: Students will interact directly with lecturers, staff, and senior students who will help them navigate the academic world at Undiknas.
  3. External Speakers Sessions: This activity brings in speakers from various government and private institutions to provide relevant insights to students. Key contributors include sessions on National Defense by the Commander of Udayana Military Command, Public Order by the Bali Police, Drug Awareness by Bali’s National Narcotics Agency (BNN), and Digital Financial Literacy by Bank Indonesia Bali Representative.
  4. Faculty Introduction: Every new student will receive in-depth information about their study programs, including curriculum details, teaching staff, and other essential information.

This event was made possible through the strong collaboration between students, faculty, and staff at Universitas Pendidikan Nasional. The organizing committee, consisting of senior students and lecturers, carefully planned the event, from scheduling to venue preparation, and coordination with external partners who supported the event.

Around 1,600 new students across 14 study programs participated in the New Student Campus Life Introduction (PKKMB) activities. Student Week has become a crucial annual agenda to help new students get to know and adapt to their new life on campus. The event was designed to be humane, creative, and fun, with sessions including creative booths from student organizations, interactive sessions from student bodies, and entertainment sessions from the organizing committee. To foster an entrepreneurial spirit in the new students, interactive and engaging activities were incorporated into the event.

Through Student Week 2024, Universitas Pendidikan Nasional hopes to establish a strong foundation for new students to grow as global citizens. The experiences they gain during this event are expected to serve as valuable assets for their academic journey while nurturing their commitment to global community and environmental development. The event was attended by a lineup of distinguished guests, the academic community, including graduates’ families, and other invitees. Dr. ATNIKE NOVA SIGIRO, M.Sc., the Chairperson of the Indonesian National Commission on Human Rights, was also present to sign an MoU with Undiknas and deliver a Scientific Oration to the graduates.

In his speech, the Rector of Undiknas, Prof. Dr. Ir. Nyoman Sri Subawa, S.T., S.Sos., M.M., IPM., ASEAN.Eng., expressed his gratitude and pride in the graduates’ achievements. He emphasized the important role of higher education in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in terms of improving education quality, access, inclusivity, and international collaboration.

“Educational institutions play an active role in realizing the fourth SDG, which is ‘Quality Education.’ All levels of education, including higher education, are required to continuously create, innovate, and improve the quality of education to ultimately contribute to the welfare of society,” he stated.

Undiknas has developed various innovations in learning methods, including the development of a Learning Management System (LMS) that supports blended learning methods. This commitment is also reflected in the receipt of a Grant for the Development of Mandatory Course Learning Models in Higher Education Curriculum (MKWK) in 2024 from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology.

Additionally, the Rector of Undiknas stated that the university continues to enhance access to education for underprivileged communities through various scholarship programs.

“Undiknas provides educational cost assistance (scholarships) to reach outstanding prospective students from disadvantaged backgrounds, remote areas, and minority groups. This aligns with the government’s vision to realize an intelligent Indonesia through superior human resources.”

This policy applies not only to domestic students but also to foreign students who wish to continue their studies at Undiknas. Various international collaborations have been established with institutions such as Teesside University UK and GTNT Group – Institute of Skills and Training Australia, serving as tangible evidence of Undiknas’ efforts to strengthen its international reputation and achieve the golden generation by 2030. This is also reflected in Undiknas being ranked 1st in Bali, 44th in Indonesia, and +1501st in the world by the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2024.

In this graduation ceremony, Undiknas proudly graduated 202 students from various study programs, both undergraduate and master’s levels. Special recognition was given to graduates with the highest Cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) from each study program. They are Ni Putu Dea Arina Lestari (Management), Ni Komang Pebriyanti (Accounting), Intan Brilian Patricia J. Ana (Public Administration), Ketut Ade Rahayuni (Communication Science), Albinia Kireyna (Law), I Made Lanang Manik Arya Wangsa (Civil Engineering), Gde Agus Sujayana (Electrical Engineering), Gusi Ayu Tantyana Wira Devi (Information Technology), I Made Dwija Pramana Putra (Master of Management), Desak Ayu Candra Wahyuni (Master of Public Administration), and Nyoman Arjana (Master of Law).

Not only academic achievements, but awards were also given to active students who have excelled at the international level. Among them, I Gede Ketut Bagus Suardana and Ni Putu Yulina Aprilia Kusuma from the International Business Management program at Undiknas successfully participated in studies at HELP University, Malaysia, in the Bachelor of Management (Hons) program. Meanwhile, Ni Kadek Tia Puspita from the same program successfully transferred her studies to Edith Cowan University, Australia, in the Bachelor of Commerce program. These various achievements reflect the quality of education and Undiknas’ support in developing its students’ potential.

The 95th Graduation Ceremony of Universitas Pendidikan Nasional marks an important milestone in the graduates’ journey towards a bright future. Bagi calon Mahasiswa Baru yang telah dinyatakan lulus tes penerimaan mahasiswa baru diharapkan segera mendaftar ulang paling lambat Tanggal 16 Juni 2024, apabila melampaui batas waktu yang telah ditentukan dianggap mengundurkan diri. 

 

Persyaratan Pendaftaran Ulang

Persyaratan pendaftaran ulang adalah sebagai berikut:

  • Softcopy Ijazah atau Surat Keterangan Lulus (SKL)
  • Softcopy Akta Kelahiran
  • Softcopy KTP
  • Surat Pernyataan tunduk pada Statuta Undiknas 
  • Softcopy Kartu Keluarga

Australia’s Consul-General in Bali Visits Universitas Pendidikan Nasional (Undiknas) Bali http://undiknas.ac.id/en/2024/04/australias-consul-general-in-bali-visits-universitas-pendidikan-nasional-undiknas-bali/ Thu, 18 Apr 2024 14:17:08 +0000 https://undiknas.ac.id/2024/04/australias-consul-general-in-bali-visits-universitas-pendidikan-nasional-undiknas-bali/ On 17 April 2024, Consul-General Jo Stevens, and colleagues from the Australian Consulate- General in Bali visited Universitas Pendidikan Nasional (Undiknas) in Denpasar. This university has long-standing connections with Australia, through student exchanges, educational partnerships and Australian alumni activities.

 

During her visit, Consul-General Stevens met with the Rector of Undiknas, Prof. Dr. Ir. Nyoman Sri Subawa, to discuss further opportunities for collaboration with Australia. Together, they signed a renewed Mutual Arrangement, aimed at continuing activities at the #AussieBanget Corner located within the university’s library. This is one of several #AussieBanget Corners located in universities in Indonesia. The aim of these corners is to provide a space for students to learn more about Australia and engage with Australian alumni.

The Consul-General concluded her visit with a guest lecture to around 120 students and staff, in which she gave an overview of Australia and outlined its close bilateral relationship with Indonesia. “Indonesia and Australia are close friends, neighbours and partners. Our cooperation spans every sector, including trade, education, development, and security,” said Consul-General Stevens.

 

The Consul-General also highlighted the enduring personal ties between the people of Australia and Indonesia. “These connections are the foundation on which we work together to support the stability, security and prosperity of our people and our region,” she said.

Following the lecture, Consul Amelia Ekkel gave a presentation on the Australia Awards scholarship program and encouraged students to consider studying in Australia.

 

Rector Prof. Dr. Ir. Nyoman Sri Subawa, expressed his warm appreciation for the Consul-General’s visit and ongoing partnership through the #AussieBanget Corner. He affirmed Undiknas’ interest in exploring further opportunities for collaboration with Australia’s education sector.
