Having an achievement is a matter of pride for anyone who achieves it. Of course, it is not easy to get it, various processes and failures have been passed to reach the stage where achievements can be achieved. Faradita Putri Aura Maharani, a Semester III student of the Department of Communication Studies at the Denpasar Universitas Pendidikan Nasional – Bali has just made a proud achievement, in holding the 2022 Student Creative Festival which was held by the Indonesian Press Council. Aura won 1st place in the Video category with the theme “If I Were a Journalist” beating other participants from various universities in Indonesia.

The 2022 Student Creative Festival which is being held by the Indonesian Press Council itself is holding activities with two themes, namely “If I Were a Journalist” and “Hope for the Press Council” with two categories, namely Feature Writing and Short Videos. Participants are allowed to upload their works to the media, there is no limit to the number of works sent as long as they comply with the provisions of the existing theme. Aura started her journey in participating in the Festival by entering the Feature Writing category. Having doubts about her ability to write, Aura sent another piece of work to the Short Video category.

More than two weeks after submitting her work, Aura received information that she was included in the top five nominations in the short video category. He then received an e-mail invitation to attend the 2022 Press Council Award (ADP) which was held at The Trans Luxury Hotel, Bandung on Monday, December 12, 2022. The activity was also attended by the Republic of Indonesia’s Coordinating Minister for Politics, Law, and Security, Mr. Prof. Mohammad Mahfud MD, Governor of West Java, Mr. Moch. Ridwan Kamil and Plt. Chairman of the Press Council M. Agung Dharmajaya.

“Initially I was hesitant to attend, considering my name was in the top 5 but not at number 1, so I thought I would only get the champion,” he said in an interview with the Public Relations team of the National University of Education

He feels that the list of names that are among the top 5 at the 2022 Student Creative Festival are great people, which are still very far away when compared to his experience so far. So, it’s impossible to get a satisfactory ranking in the event. However, thanks to her faith and curiosity, Aura decided to attend the awarding night event that invited her. unexpectedly, with disbelief, it turned out that he was the one who got first place in the competition.

“I didn’t expect it, it turned out that I won 1st place, everything seemed like it was not in vain,” he said

“All of this is certainly not because I am alone, many friends, family, and also lecturers at the National Education University support my steps” he continued enthusiastically while telling his experience while leaving for Bandung which was his first flight at that time.

Through the achievements she has achieved so far, Faradita Putri Aura Maharani hopes to continue to develop her abilities even better. What he has achieved now is a valuable experience that will be a motivation to keep moving forward. Great appreciation is given by the University of National Education for the achievements Aura has achieved, and hopefully, this will be a motivation for Faradita Putri Aura Maharani, students, and the younger generation to be able to continue learning and strive for other achievements both inside and outside the country.

The Rector of the Universitas Pendidikan Nasional who was present at the IMAC 2022 series of activities, officially opened the IMAC 2022 series of activities on Monday, November 28, 2022. In his remarks Prof. Dr. Ir. Nyoman Sri Subawa, S.T., S.Sos., M.M., IPM. ASEAN.Eng., said,

“We are optimistic all the attendants would manage to use this forum to discuss and achieve a critical and sustainable solution to build a green industrial area.” Said Professor Sri Subawa.

The holding of the IMAC 2022 forum is an important moment in discussing steps to address current economic disruptions, the green movement in various aspects is the first step in organizing industrial activities based on sustainability.

IMAC 2022 was successfully held thanks to the support of the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises, PT Pertamina (Persero), the Indonesia Stock Exchange, Universitas Pendidikan Nasional, and more than 20 related institutions such as professional organizations, universities, and educational startups involved in it. Taking place in a hybrid manner at the Dwi Tunggal Auditorium, Universitas Pendidikan Nasional, as well as via Zoom Meeting the conference was attended by delegates and important figures in the fields of economics and accounting. Among them, the Main Director of BEI Drs. Iman Rachman, MBA., Australian Embassy Aziz Ladha, MBA., ICMA President Prof. Brendan O’Connell, Global CEO of ICMA Prof. Janek Ratnatunga, Global CFO and ICMA COO Dr. Chris D’Souza, President of ICMA Indonesia Daniel Godwin Sihotang, CA, CMA, CIBA, CBV., Representatives from the Association of Indonesian Accountants (IAI), as well as representatives from each institution and university in Bali.

The series of IMAC 2022 activities are filled with an agenda of appreciation for figures who have contributed to the development of the Indonesian economy, presentation of material on strategic steps, and views on sustainability through the application of green investment in today’s economy and industry.

Professor Sri Subawa also said, “We expect that the development of green investment and environmental preservation will be covered according to the appropriate scientific principle and able to contribute to the environment and society.”

Through the implementation of the IMAC 2022 forum at the Universitas Pendidikan Nasional, it is hoped that will solve the development and implementation of Green Investment and Environmental Preservation in the industrial world.

The series of activities that took place in Building A, Universitas Pendidikan Nasional invited all members of the Badminton UKM to be involved in it. What’s more, the presence of new members from 2022/2023 students makes the deliberation activities carried out mandatory to attend as part of an introduction to campus culture. Carrying the theme “Creating a Quality Generation by Developing the Potential of Organizational Spirit”. The Agenda for the Member Conference (MUSANG #2) which was held by the Undiknas Badminton UKM focused on evaluating all targets and achievements of work programs that had been running previously. Through this, it is hoped that the achievement targets that have been achieved can become motivation and enthusiasm for members of the organization in preparing further programs. as well as, to see the extent of the obstacles faced by the management in implementing the karma program which will later become material for improving and working efficiency of the organization.

During the ongoing activities, MUSANG #2 UKM Badminton was also filled with the agenda for selecting and establishing new management and the Board of Trustees for the 2022/2023 term of office. It is hoped that through the implementation of deliberations, the vision and mission of the organization can be conveyed clearly to all its members. Thus, in the term of office of the new management later. Managers can launch strategic programs to build and develop the organization in a better direction. As well as members who are members of the organization can take an active role to jointly achieve the achievement targets that have been set.

The activity was planned to take place at Masceti Beach, Medahan Village, Gianyar. As one of the beaches on the island of Bali, Masceti Beach is a beach that many residents visit as a means of recreation and also for various religious activities in Bali. Taking place on Friday, 18 November 2022, a series of activities involved the community from villages around Masceti Beach, Gianyar, and also children from SDN 1 Gianyar. The series of activities began with the opening of the event which was held at the Subak Masceti Museum, Gianyar. The event was officially opened by Dr. Drs. I Nyoman Subanda, M.Sc. as the Dean of FISHum, followed by the departure of all the participants who attended the Back to Roots #6 events to the beach to clean up the Masceti Beach area together.

It didn’t stop there, the agenda was also filled with various outreach activities by resource persons who were experts in their fields. Among them, Socialization about Hoaxes and wise social media, sharing sessions related to smart villages, and what is no less interesting. There are workshops that discuss how to process waste into handicrafts that have economic value. So, by inviting the local community to get involved in implementing Back to Roots #6 activities. It is expected to motivate and foster a sense of concern for the environment. Of course, this hard work cannot be achieved alone, it needs awareness from all levels of society in making this happen. Hopefully, the goal of implementing Back to Roots #6 that can have a positive influence on the environment and surrounding communities.

The activities held are intended to invite the community to help the government and also the community in meeting the current increasing need for blood. GenBI Blood Donation, as the title of the activity, carries the theme “A Little Blood for a Big Hope”. This means that through the implementation of GenBI Blood Donor activities it is hoped that it can contribute to meeting the need for blood in the community.

The GenBI Blood Donation series of activities took place at the PMI Headquarters in Denpasar City. Community enthusiasm filled the donor site during the activity. It was recorded that 70 potential donors were involved in GenBI Blood Donation activities. As a result, the committee obtained a total of 44 blood bags. This is because there are several factors that cause participants who do not meet the requirements to donate.

GenBI Universitas Pendidikan Nasional as one of the implementing committees conveyed his hopes. I hope that all the contributions and hard work of all teams and communities involved in the series of activities can continue to contribute in a sustainable manner. Thus, GenBI as an agent of change in increasing knowledge and community welfare can be optimally implemented.

This visit was part of the framework for initiating collaboration through the signing of an MoU regarding the opening of a new study program at the Universitas Pendidikan Nasional. Not only that, together with Murdoch University, the Universitas Pendidikan Nasional also plans to collaborate in the Enrichment Program implementation program to develop the insights of Universitas Pendidikan Nasional students and the Bridging to Professor program as a collaborative program that aims to produce scientific publications in internationally accredited journals.

Universitas Pendidikan Nasional group arrival at Murdoch University warmly welcomed . The MoU signing was carried out by Prof. Dr. Ir. Nyoman Sri Subawa, S.T., S.Sos., M.M., IPM. ASEAN.Eng as Rector together with Mr. Kelly Smith, Pro Vice-Chancellor International as a representative from Murdoch University. After the signing agenda was completed, the Rector of the Universitas Pendidikan Nasional and his staff had the opportunity to carry out Campus Tour activities and see the facilities at Murdoch University, Australia.

To provide quality education to students, the Universitas Pendidikan Nasional continues to strive to innovate both from existing educational facilities and infrastructure. I hope that through the signing of the MoU between the University of National Education and Murdoch University, the two universities can develop together and provide education that can benefit the community and the surrounding environment.

Prof. Dr. John Vong, BA, MBA, CPA, Ph.D. as Associate Director of the International Center for ASEANA Management, warmly welcomed the arrival of the Rector of the Universitas Pendidikan Nasional. Accompanied by the Head of International Office, Mr. Ida Nyoman Basmantra S.Pd., M.Pd., the agenda for the meeting was filled with the signing of the MoU as the first step in the cooperation agreement forged between the two parties.

iCAM itself is an agency that will later provide direction and training to lecturers at the Universitas Pendidikan Nasional in writing and researching and also publishing in journals. Through the strategic collaboration established between the Universitas Pendidikan Nasional and iCAM Singapore, it is hoped that it will spur the performance of lecturers in producing writings that can be published in internationally accredited journals.

So, through the collaboration that has been established, both parties agreed to be able to jointly implement the best training that can increase the publication of articles in reputable international-scale journals. As the Rector, Professor Sri Subawa proclaimed that the Universitas Pendidikan Nasional would continue to grow and develop, through excellent international standard programs and skilled and competent resources towards a World Class University.

The series of Regeneration Day activities began with socialization activities with the theme “Create a Golden Generation by Protecting Mental Health and Achieving Work-Life Balance” which was filled by Mrs. I G. A. Desy Arlita, S.E., M.Sc., and Mrs. Wangsa Ayu Vidya Loka, S.Psi., M.Psi as the guest speaker and Kadek Linda Kusnita, S.E., Ak., M.M as the event speaker. Socialization activities discuss how we as the younger generation can create a generation that can maintain mental health and achieve a balance between life and work. Issues regarding Mental Health and Work-Life Balance are indeed a hot topic today among young millennials, where many young people view maintaining mental health as very important in life so work pressure sometimes becomes a thorny problem that they want to avoid so they can continue to enjoy their life. while climbing a career path in the world of work. It is hoped that the seminar will help the participants maintain mental health and achieve balance in their lives and work.

After the socialization series ended, the highlight of the agenda was filled with the election of the Chair and Deputy Chair of the National University of Education Accounting HIMAPRODI. The candidates are students of the accounting study program who have previously nominated themselves and have passed the fit and proper test to test the eligibility of each candidate. The results of the election stated that Candidacy Number 2 (Nandik and Diva) as the elected pair as Chair and Deputy Chair of HIMAPRODI Accounting for the 2022/2023 Period defeated two other candidates pairs.

Hopefully through the election of the new Chairman and Deputy Chairperson of HIMAPRODI Accounting, the National University of Education can create a Student Association that is increasingly growing and synergizing together based on the principles of democracy, integrity, creative & critical, supportive, and active in accordance with the vision that has been proclaimed.

The series of visiting activities began with the arrival of the STKIP Darud Da’wah wal Irsyad (STKIP DDI) Pinrang, South Sulawesi group at the Universitas Pendidikan Nasional Campus on Jalan Bedugul No.39, Sidakarya, South Denpasar, Bali. The arrival of the DDI Pinrang STKIP Lecturer and Student group was warmly welcomed by the faculty and staff at the Universitas Pendidikan Nasional, even though the campus atmosphere seemed quiet due to the ongoing implementation of the karma WFH protocol at the Universitas Pendidikan Nasional in the framework of the G20 agenda event which took place in Bali.

Taking place in the Theater Room, Undiknas, the agenda for signing the MoU was attended by the Vice-Rector for Partnership and Entrepreneurship Mr. Agus Fredy Maradona SE, Ak., MSA., Ph.D. as the representative for the Rector of the Universitas Pendidikan Nasional, Vice-Rector for Academic Development Mrs. Dr. Ni Wayan Widhiasthini, S.Sos., M.Si., university lecturers and representatives from the Student Representative Council (DPM) of the Universitas Pendidikan Nasional. The event was opened with remarks from the Vice-Rector for Partnership as a representative of the Rector of the Universitas Pendidikan Nasional, in his remarks, the Universitas Pendidikan Nasional welcomed the existing collaboration plans.

“We welcome the arrival of the chairman and staff, hopefully, this can be the start of a partnership between the two tertiary institutions (Universitas Pendidikan Nasional and STKIP DDI)” said Mr. Agus Fredy.

He also said that Universitas Pendidikan Nasional opened up great opportunities through collaboration in carrying out research programs, student exchanges, and community service activities. In line with Mr. Agus Fredy, Head of STKIP DDI Mr. Dr. Abdul Walik, M.A also hopes that through the MoU with the Universitas Pendidikan Nasional, STKIP DDI can collaborate in carrying out various educational development programs and enrich students’ insights to continue to improve the quality of education at STKIP DDI Pinrang.

Berlangsung di Theater Room, Undiknas, Agenda penandatanganan  MoU dihadiri oleh Vice Rector for Partnership and Entrepreneurship bapak Agus Fredy Maradona S.E., Ak., MSA., PHd selaku perwakilan Rektor Universitas Pendidikan Nasional, Vice Rector for Academic Development ibu Dr. Ni Wayan Widhiasthini, S.Sos., M.Si jajaran dosen universitas serta perwakilan dari Dewan Perwakilan Mahasiswa (DPM) Universitas Pendidikan Nasional. Acara dibuka dengan sambutan dari Vice Rector for Partnership selaku perwakilan dari Rektor Universitas Pendidikan Nasional, dalam sambutannya disampaikan pihak Universitas Pendidikan Nasional sangat menyambut baik rencana kerjasama yang ada.

“kami menyambut baik kedatangan bapak ketua beserta jajaran, mudah – mudahan ini bisa menjadi awal kemitraan dari dua perguruan tinggi ( Universitas Pendidikan Nasional dan STKIP DDI)” ujar bapak Agus Fredy.

Dirinya juga menyampaikan bahwasanya Universitas Pendidikan Nasional membuka peluang besar melalui Kerjasama yang ada dalam melaksanakan program Riset, Pertukaran Pelajar maupun Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Senada dengan bapak Agus Fredy, Ketua STKIP DDI bapak Dr. Abdul Walik, M.A juga berharap melalui adanya MoU bersama Universitas Pendidikan Nasional, STKIP DDI dapat berkolaborasi dalam melaksanakan berbagai program pengembangan pendidikan serta memperkaya wawasan mahasiswanya untuk terus meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan yang ada di STKIP DDI Pinrang.

Usai agenda penandatanganan MoU selesai dilaksanakan agenda dilanjutkan dengan penyerahan kenang – kenangan dari kedua belah pihak sebagai tanda awal jalinan kerja sama yang telah di bentuk.
